I just saw an add on TV.
I never heard of it before.
It looks like just another snake oil to me.

Their claim: "In an independent pilot clinical study, 100% of the participants using Follicare® grew new hair and experienced reduced hair loss in JUST 8 weeks."

:freaked:

No, I don't think it is snake oil per se. It clearly states that follicare is a regimen of 5% minoxidil, plus some other products with nutrients, anti-oxidants, and other substances most notably saw palmetto.

The only question is how much a regime of 5% minoxidil alone would cost, even adding in some of the nutrients it includes costs you, relative to the cost of follicare. Methinks you are paying a lot more money per month for a bundled product than what you would pay for minoxidil plus the selected nutrients if you purchased them on your own.

Well its pretty much rip off then.
They can claim that it regrows hair because of minoxidil that they include. I dont see any reason other than that, as generic minoxidil is dirt cheap so why would they sell it!?
They added a bunch of some (probably useless) stuff and jacked up the price by 5 fold.
I cannot believe how many people are trying to rip off poor baldies
Doesn't this guys piss you off?
