Does anyone know how long a hair follicles can survive without producing hair?
Reading the success stories… most tend to be from people who acted quickly, probably in that first year they noticed any hair loss… So im guessing the medication helped kick start those follicles back to life that had stopped producing hair or was on their way out… and in the success pics you see guys who had in some cases completely bare temples that have now filled up with hair again. Am I right in thinking that they had only recently lost the hair in these areas?
has any study or calculation been done to work out how long a follicle can go without producing hair before it becomes redundant and will never produce again? In my case I started loosing hair at 27 (that I noticed, though I understand I probably started loosing hair a few years before that but not to the point of it being noticeable) and now I am 31 and about to start the big 3, at the very, very best, in my wildest dreams how much could I dream of getting back? Would a wild shot say follicles I have lost in the last year?
Does anybody know the life span of a follicle without hair? I have read they don’t die at all… I have also read once they are dead, they are dead or is it still unknown to medical science?
I understand some of these questions I am throwing out may be challenging or indefinite. But im sure there are a lot of people out there thinking along similar lines
