The directions say to use it 4x a week, but if it can possibly stimulate hair growth and inhibit dht, then why not use it everyday? Does it have a long half life or something? I use it every other day but am considering using it everyday.

Bruce, do you use it for scalp health, or do you think it actually helps for regrowth/dht inhibition? I know what the studies say, but would you say that using it everyday has helped you grow/maintain hair?

Why was your scalp sore, I don't see minoxidil in your regimen? Is it nizoral maybe? I used that stuff once followed by folligen and it burnt the living hell out of me. Of course my scalp was still kind of inflammed from the damage that minoxidil did to it.

As for right now, I am using it everyday. This is until I am satisfied with irritation relief from Minoxidil 5%. Right now it is under control, but I want to wait until I have 2 solid months of relief from massive irritation. Everytime I think I have it solved it goes right back to scquare one with other products and gets worse.Folligen is the one and only thing that has worked for me.

Once things are normal as can be, I will more than likely drop to 3 or 4 times a week.

I would leave it right where you are at right now unless you are having problems.

One can speculate on folligen's actions. From direct experience, folligen seems to"

Act as an inflammatory

Restore hair pigment

Add thickness to the hair (this take some time to see)

Reduce daily hair loss (this effect is pretty dramatic in me)

Whether this is due to an impact on DHT or other actions of copper peptides, I really don't know and in fact, don't care.

I simply think it works well.

:D

I dont know why my scalp was sore , but I would get these little bumps that felt like pimples, from what Ive read its pretty common for someone with male pattern baldness, to have a sore scalp.......

Do any of you folligen users order it off the internet? I want to get it as soon as possible and unfortunetly its not available in Canadian stores as far as I know. Today seeing dandruff flakes break off my scalp along with the attached hairs at the derm was the last straw.

Any suggestions for a good place to order?

is the concensus around here that Folligen is a better overall value than Tricomin? Delivery vs. amount of copper peptides is my only concern, seems like there a lot more CP's in Folligen, but Tricomins delivery may be better. Plus it appears Tricomin actually has more conclusive studies done on it vs Folligen.

Your thoughts?

Thx

Tricomin has dye to make it look like a more concentrated copper-peptide product. End of story.

Dr. Pickhart invented tricomin and folligen, much later.

He is of the opinion that

His newer versions of folligen are superior to his original tricomin formula (he simply believes the science of CP has evolved_.

He understands that tricomin has deviated from the original FDA tested formula and has diluted the product a bit.

For what it is worth.
