Folligen/Tricomin Question

After I try Propecia (7 months right now) for 12-14 months and am not satisfied with the results then I will consider using Folligen/Tricomin. I'm leaning towards using Folligen hearing more positive things about it than Tricomin but my question is will Folligen be effective without Minoxidil? Also, what are the side effects from using Folligen? Is there initial shedding like Minoxidil? Is there massive shedding after you stop using Folligen or is it more of a gradual loss of the hair that was grown because of Folligen or can you actually keep the hair you grew from Folligen with assistance from Propecia? Lastly, would hair that is normally growing be Folligen-dependent if it came into contact with Folligen?
Testimonials from people who used only Folligen with Propecia and not Minoxidil would also be appreciated.

In my experience, folligen does not cause shedding but helps avoid it. Since I have not stopped using folligen over a 10 yr period, I can't say anything about a shed if you stop.

There is no data on folligen dependence that I know of. I make the assumption that ALL treatments stop being effective when you stop using them. After that, all male pattern baldness impacted follicles are at risk, including the ones that still have hair in them.

Re: minoxidil, I have no idea why you would not use it. It works esp well with propecia and folligen.

Good luck
