Gigsy put it very well, ripper mate! Stick with the big 3. There are other things besides cloning and H.M on the horizon too, such as hopefully much, much more powerful topicals IF they turn out to be sucessful in trials.

Mantain as much as you can for now.

Ten years is a pretty conservative estimate, im hoping that within 5 years time well will have something topically anyway muuuuch more powerful than minoxidil. Who knows about the timeframe for H.M and hair cloning, im not holding my breath for them.

I'm very grateful to have come across this board and site, because two months ago I was quite depressed but now I feel like I'm fighting the battle with a couple thousand other troops.

When are the next set of topicals supposed to come out of trials?

Dr. Washenik (Aderans Research) is the only person I know that's gone on record saying that their research (Follicular Neogenesis) will be either available or in the latter stages of testing in 5 years (mid 2008).

PS1 has potential, but if it does go through trials safely and it it is succesful then it might be another 4 or 5 years till it is released commercially. TB4 is another, im not sure what the timeframe is with it, but i expect it again if it is viable as a hairloss treatment to be out commericially before PS1.

However you can already get your hands on TB4 (from where i dont know and for a price), some people have just started using it very recently, its a bit shady though.

People are trying to get PS1 made up independentally by Faith Eagle (who make up RU) but it doesent seem to be going anywhere very fast as they need an initial investment.

3000mg of 'Biotin' !!

I personally would not take 3000mg a day only because it would cost me £416.66p a day, and I would be taking 1,998,000% the UK RDA.

although saying that you will get to cut your nails/hair every few minutes.

I think you should be taking 3mg.

Thanks for that Stinger, ill check out thier website i need to order some more MSM and Biotin. I think 5mg of biotin is enough for anybody, 2.5 or 3mg seems the norm.

Stinger how long did they take to ship to the UK?

Im sick of UK prices for vitamins and stuff, we get so damm screwed with prices for stuff in this country we take it for granted most of the time. :smoke:

About 1 - 3 weeks MAX, arrives by parcel force, needs signature and iv never had a customs charge so its all been worth it.
Iv ordered from them 4 times so far and everythings been well. Holland and Barretts sell 8oz MSM for 20 quid!
You can get three 8oz MSM powder from Puritans pride for 21 quid and just 5(maybe less) quid for delivery, now beat that!

I hate being ripped off here as well, but what can we do :-/ I have seen one cheap UK supplier and thats http://www.worldwideshoppingmall.co.uk

I get my flax seed oil/Evening primrose from them.
