I read that 1mg finasteride blocks about 85% type 2, 5 alpha reductase.
For how long does one single dose of 1mg block 85% before the DHT level starts to increase again?
I’m asking because a lot of drugs has a short half-life and has to be taken twice daily to give maximum results. Would it be ok to cut your daily dose of finasteride in two (morning, and night), or does the once a day dosage inhibit 85% until you take another pill the next day?
