What should we use??????

Propecia gave me too many side effects, i messed around with some topical dutasteride but im looking for the best TOPICAL DHT med out there?

I just started using Dr lees 12.5 minoxidil after using 5% for years and getting lots of vellus hairs, but I know something else needs to be added? maybe copper peptides?

im 25 and have what I would consider slow but steady male pattern baldness. The hairline def needs fast action.

I figure I would start a thread b/c there are prob many people out there who want to stay away from pills.

Revita shampoo may help to stabilise/slow down hairloss a bit - It has for me. Or Revivogen (although that doesn't get good reports from the looks of things).

Could try Saw Palmetto/Pumpkin seed extract - it may give you the same side effects as finasteride though.

best bet is probably just minoxidil. keep in mind for most people it is for maintenance, not regrowth. so just because you don't see hairs sprouting doesn't mean it's not slowing down/halting the loss.

What is all this talk behind Proxiphen and Flumatide? Do people have success with any of this?

I know you can buy Proxiphen but do you may Flu by yourself?

I tried Saw Palmetto for a few days after I discovered that finastride wasn't for me. As far as I know, I don't have any allergies, but saw palmetto gave me a very bad itch. I can only assume I had an allergic reaction to it :dunno:

Why don't you try Prox-N or Proxiphen? Dr. Proctor has made the bold statement in the past that Proxiphen is "unquestionably more effective" than Propecia alone, and I have no particular reason to doubt his judgement.

Spread the drops out evenly (or cream, in the case of Proxiphen), and work them into your scalp

thats a bold statement to make by the Doctor without any evidence...
if that were the case, i believe the big 3 would be the big 4 on most websites but i truly hear nothing regarding proxiphen/prox-n.

Your pretty screwed without propecia. At least if you have aggressive male pattern baldness.

Not saying there isn't another fix out there.. I'm sure there's some crazy concoction yet to be cooked up that would work amazingly well. But it's yet to be found.

Hey, it's YOUR hair, not mine. If you don't want to take advantage of his decades of experience in treating hair loss, then don't use his products. Good luck to you.

He says the evidence is based on his years of experience in comparing the clinical responses of his patients both to his own products, AND to the familiar ones (Rogaine and Propecia).

Relatively few people have tried his products, which is why they're not very well known.
