Here's a link to an article discussing different journal papers that show links to younger cellular age (longer telomeres) and various nutrients (omega-3s, multivitamins, green tea).

Obviously the papers can't determine why these nutrients are protecting our cells but the addition of these to a diet can't hurt matters uptop.

Some effects of omega 3 consumption that are of note:

-reduced inflammation
-better dealing with inflammation
-production of prostaglandins
-increased mood and mental processing skills
