Frequency of usage for minoxidil

Well i have started with minoxidil 5% for around one month, I have been using it once a day. So i am just asking whether once a day is too little? Would this amount be too little to do any good, i still have hair but i found myself shedding a lot of hair for a year now(don't know why it started), I can see that it has been thinning a lot but still unnoticible if not carefully observed.

And i want to know which device are you guys using to apply the drug. the big spray? the smaller spray? or the rubing device? thanks.

You can use Minoxidil once a day and it can still work but it is not as effective as using it twice a day. If i have a skin head i use the spray otherwise i use a special squeezer that i found in my parents bathroom, no idea where you can get them from.
