Hello all,

I started Finasteride 3 months ago(on the spot 22-06-2014) and twee weeks ago i added some supplements including MSM Biotin Silica Collagen and Llysine. Just as I started to notice some positive effects (decrease in hair loss) i discovered a possible "side" effect.

Complete regimen:
minoxidil 2x
Fina 1,25mg
Regenepure both shampoos 3 times a week
Biotin 10,000mcg
MSM 4 tabs
Royal Jelly, Silica , multivitamin, lysine, omega 3 | 1 tab
Collagen 3 tabs

Since a week or so i'm noticing an INCREASE in my peeing frequency and it also became more urgent. If i feel i need to "go" I have got about 15-45 minutes to find a toilet or a tree or i'm going to wet myself. I prefer this over any erection problem, but still pretty annoying. Is this my body adapting, is this a prostate problem or should i just go to a doctor and check for a blatter infection.

Of course this can very well be the result of the effects of Fina on my prostate which is where it was made for. I hope someone can explain it to me and if i should worry about it or not.

This might be a stupid observation, but it seems to happen more often when i drink coffee, which i will stop drinking for a while.

Thanks in advance

its because of the prostate, finasteride and dutasteride (Avodart which you see commercials for) are designed to treat prostate enlargement in old men and help them pee. So you can imagine why it might increase this

Once again, thank you zzzzz. Just as I thought, glad you could confirm this. If you explain it like this it sound very logical. Needed some confirmation though. Glad to hear it is nothing serious, just something the drug is designed to do. Need to rethink my daily dose though. I do drive a car all day long at the moment making it a bit annoying(had some very close calls).
