From liquid to foam?

I am considering swithching from Kirkland minoxidil to Rogaine foam. Is this a wise choice?

I have been using kirkland for around 7 months now with limited results. see my page here

Go for it, nothing beats the foam, more effective and less hassle than liquid.

I don't think he foam has been in circulation long enough to be really sure of results. But I looked at your pics and I think you should go for it to thicken up on top. You may shed a little more if you switch but that's generally good for regrowth.

Im going to give it 3 more months on this sh*t then switch if neccessary.

Fair enough, but I think you will end by switching to the foam. I've been using it for about a month. I've had a minor shed during that time but my hair is thicker and I've begun to notice terminal hairs slowly filling the ghastly blanks in my crown.

I think it's good sh*t.

maybe I should use the 5% minoxidil liquid aswel as the foam. Lets say liquid, foam, liquid, foam. Throughout the day. 2 doses of each. What u think?

You could alternate them, yes, but if the foam is gonna cause a shed then it will do. And doubling up doesn't really guarantee more regrowth. If you're that worried stick with the liquid until you're sure you're not going to get any more joy, then make the switch.

i was on rogaine 5% minoxidil for 6 months then switched to kirkland until 2 months ago when i started the foam(was on kirkland 10 months)

the switch to foam led to a big shed which basically lasted a month.the foam is well worth it and like we all know when starting a new product a shed is a good thing,and going by that i should have a pretty big result cos ive had a pretty big shed!


i would absolutely get on the foam asap,ride out the shed cos once ya have youll be so glad you did
