Hello,

type fo hairloss: hair loss only in the front area

I take dutasteride for about 10 months. Before the duta treatment, I used finasteride for 2 months.

Since 1 month I also use minoxodil 2 times 1ml a day. I think the additional minoxidil is a "regrowth booster". I attached some photos for you.....

so I think in my case makes a dht-blocker and minoxodil combination sense.

To compare the two pics, I made a black mark on the same position. On the picture, made in June you can see many many little hair, which are in the grow phase.

September 2006

June 2007

How would you evaluate the result?

best regards

At first I took 1 pill dutagen a day. Now I take 3 pills a week and I didn't notice any shifting. At the moment shedding occurs due to the fact of using minoxidil.

it used to be spironolactone 5% in the morning and fluridil at night. but now for an experiment i'm using 2% nizoral lotion every night. no difference as yet.

Why do you use spironolactone or nizoral lotion? It doesn't exist a scientific proof for the effectiveness!!!

Wrong. There are some scientific studies regarding both spironolactone and Nizoral. However, there aren't abundant studies for these two. Nizoral wouldn't even make the Big 3 if it lacked effectiveness.

11and11:

5% spironolactone Cream can be purchased either from Dr. Lee or Genhair. I'd recommend either, but moreover, Genhair's version since it has extra ingredients not found in Dr. Lee's.

And Fluridil = Eucapil.

I forget where Nizoral lotion can be found, but I'm sure it's also sold at Genhair.com as well.
