Generic finasteride - How should one take it?

I've been taking 1mg generic finasteride for a week now. I take it without prescription so i don't when and how one should take this? I usually take with my breakfast. Should this be taken empty stomach or with food? or it doesn't really matter when you take it?

i will also like to know. from what i understand is fats and protein slow down absorption. so why will taking in fats improve absorption of finasteride? i learn from another forums that taking finasteride with empty stomach might improve absorption instead. how true is it i have no idea.

finasteride is extremly soluble with fat.
finasteride is not soluble with water.

In finasteride there are ingredients like Dicotyl sodium Sulphosuccinate-USP grade surfactants, docusate sodium and those jobs are to help take up finasteride better and they go better with some oil / butter / mayonnaise

so take finasteride in the morning with a butter-bread for example (us-guys with peanut-butter ;o)

I believe there are three types of medications and supplements: fat soluble, water soluble, and those needed to be taken on an empty stomach, in order to be most effective.

Unless you are taking medication for something acute (i.e. such as a headache) it makes NO difference whether you take it with food, water, horse piss, whatever.

Of course it isnt English for Beer!!
And I cant really see it being a problem taking it with beer, but I still wouldnt advise it (although Ive taken it with red wine before!).

Haha,
growing up my grandfather always told me that beer tastes like horse piss... not that I'm assuming he's TRIED it.

Anyway, I'm going to start a thread about beer now. I'm such a loser, haha.
