Generic finasteride not coming to the US anytime soon!

I came across this http://www.baldingblog.com/2006/09/28/confusion-about-generic-propecia/ while researching Generic finasteride. Looks like even though it can be on the US market, selling it would violate other patents Merck is still protected under. :evil:

I hate to break it to you guys, but generic finasteride is already out in the US. Look it up at walgreens.com

I you are talking about generic propecia thats a different story. Merck's patent on Proscar is over s you can get generic finasteride in 5mg tabs from walgreens etc..
