Or kill yourself. We don't need any more whining crying b****s on this planet. Look if you guys are going to make the rest of your life miserable because you lost your hair or are losing your hair you guys have more issues in your life than just hair. Narcissists come to mind. Life isn't fair.
Accept it and stop whinning about how you don't look like Brad Pitt. Dont you have anything else going on in your life to worry about other than your looks fading? Job? Family? School? Of course I would be depressed if I had no motivation, direction, and goals in my life. Life is great if you make it great. All I can say is that your lucky your not in a wheel chair or worse.

Idiotic post, let's be honest here, hairloss in your 20's especially is not percieved as normal, and people treat you differently, looks fading in your 20's is devestating, even to people who are very busy and have other things going on.

Pretending it's no big deal is ridiculous, especially if you are a good looking person, and it attacks your looks.

I began losing my hair at 13. I was once considered a good looking guy but so what. Im 17 now with barely any hair so I just shave it bald. People treat your differently because you are different from them. You are bald and they are not. People treat anyone who looks different than them differently. They assume things about you. It's just human nature. It's like racism. Whats a white guy going to assume if he sees a black guy at night. Exactly. But if you get to meet the black person you will see that he is a friendly guy just like you. If you are bald they will assume you are a pushover with no confidence, a loser. But those are just based on your looks and if they get to know you they will know differently unless you really are a pushover with no confidence in oneself which really does make you a loser.

word.

even if u learn to accept urself, chances are society won't. not everyone is so deep. they're all superficial. hairloss will affect u in ur career, social life and the way u're looked at. it really does stink to loss ur hair in ur 20's.

Whatever the case you young guys are very lucky now since the current trend is shaving your head even if you have a full head of hair. Years ago the only way people shave there heads was if they lost a bet. Now it is considered trendy and hip.. It looks the best on Latinos and blacks but allot of white guys can pull it off to and even look better bald. I have a good head of hair but think shaved heads are cool, so do all the girls I know. Baldness is not terminal and in allot of cases the person looks better than the did with a full head of hair.

Atthe gym the most trendy hip dudes have shaved skulls goatees and tattoos and I think they look great. Some people albeit on the more conservative side of life think that a shaved head and going bald is a bad thing well its getting more and more popular everyday. There are even hollywood stars like Bruce Willis, Vin Diesle and the rock going for it.

You need to quit bitching about us bitching, I hate it when people b**ch at us for bitching when they are bitching just like everyone else bitching. If you are going to tell us to stop bitching them might I suggest you stop bitching too, because the last thing any of us want is someone else trying to tell us not to b**ch when they are guilty of bitching themselves.

If you cant b**ch about hairloss in a hairloss site, where can you b**ch about hairloss? I think poeple only come here for two reasons.

1. to b**ch about hairloss
2. to get info on hairloss

If your here for any other reasons then you have issues. If you guys dont like it, try doing something else with your time then hanging out at a freakin hairloss site.

Let's all make a song about bitching about hair loss. I think a good title would be The Song of the Bald Man.

As far as I'm concerned the current trend is having long hippie hair. Unless I want be a meathead I'm not ready to BIC anything.

Hair is something that society views as a sign of health and youth. That's why you hear phrases like "a healthy head of hair" or "youthful looking hair." Hairloss just sucks whether you're 13 or 50. It is more "acceptable" at older ages but that does mean it isn't tough on the people losing their hair. It is sad for the 20-somethings that go bald though. It's really really tough because most of your friends and peers still have thick hait and you're at a point in your life where you have so much ahead of you (relationships, family, kids). Its a battle of the mind realizing that what is growing on your head doesn't change who you are, it only changes society's view on who you are. True people will look beyond it.

I'm cured!!!!! Thanks HeartBreakKid!!!!!! Finally sombody wrote a post that has changed my life forever!!! Wow, why didn't I think of this before!?!?! You are a god damn genius!!!!!

What I like the most is when people say "at least you aren't in a wheelchair". I'll bet if you go to a handicapped forum, some genius will say "quit whining, at least you have arms to push your chair around". I guess there would be something wrong with exchanging ideas on how to walk again.

look at it this way-

by your late 20s, your looks fade ANYWAY.

i'm 28 now and am noticing changes, like small wrinkles, creases, change in skin texture, etc. I'm looking older and don't think I can pass for a 24 year old anymore- and so are most of my friends- everyone I see from highschool which I haven't seen in a long time have aged a bit and it's noticeable. Most of them are in their late 20s now. By the time I hit my early 30s it will be evident that my youth is behind me and so are my best days of good looks- age takes a toll on EVERYONE, it's a process of life

so if you don't have hair right now in your early-mid 20s, bare with it and by the time you hit your late 20s-early 30s your looks will fade with or without your hair, so it won't be that bad. You'll also notice A LOT more guys along with you will be losing their hair since the average age to begin losing it (in my opinion) is late 20s-early 30s.

So your pissed off. I would be too under those circumstances. It must be really hard for you.

However, the products i use, have worked for me, minoxidil has been a real god send & now my hair looks pretty damn good. So why not treat it if you can? Are you saying you wouldn't have tried minoxidil or propecia if it was gonna help you keep a good head of hair? Come on.

Fact is, i'm on top of my problem right now, and at 25 there is no way i'm receed without a fight. If i lose, i lose...but right now i have male pattern baldness on the ropes.

by your late 20s, your looks fade ANYWAY.

Thats way too general a statement. If you live right, eat properly...i can name guys who look great well into their 40's without any kind of surgery etc.

No, pams looks are DEFINATELY fading. Am i saying is she ugly now? No. She is still really good looking especially for her age but age is starting 2 show on her.

But still, the last 4 years pam went downhill a lot. Like 4 years ago she was still super hot with no signs of aging at like 38. Heather locklear was really good looking at 38 also. But chicks dont last as long as guys. Guys last longer than girls.

I think a guys looks start 2 fade around 32. Depends on the guy. Peirce brosnan is like 55 and he gets mad chicks. Some guys lose their looks around 28-29, others lose at like 34.

Eminem is 30 and he looks better then he did at like 22. It varies person 2 person. My guess is the average guys looks start 2 fade at 33-40.
