No one really ever calls me out on my own hairloss as it is not significantly noticable (slight widows peak - very very thick hair all over), but when the topic is brung up I get REALLY uncomfortable. I just feel as though it is a matter of time before people will really notice mine. I try to divert the topic away from it quickly.
The other day Wayne Rooney came up in the topic of conversation:
"Yeah Rooney is not going to play in the next world cup he is too old."
Me: He is only 23
Him: Oh right, yeah thats right its because he lost all of his hair. *starts to look at mine*
Me: *uncomfortable* (although I know he didnt think "balding" because of its thickness...it was more like trying to figure out my hairloss)
Another mate:
Me: sh*t I am going gray
Him: better then going bald
Me: Yeah, well I would hate for that to happen
Him: So would I
Another incident:
Him: You got gray hair. Yo old man!
Me: makes me look distinguished
I know he hasnt noticed the hair loss, because he just kept going bang on about the gray hair. Just feel uncomfortable everytime, like if it is only a matter of time.
