Getting a Proscar Prescription?

Hi guys,

I was wondering, how many of you had success getting a prescription for Proscar instead of Propecia? I checked the Merck site, and from there I could do a search for doctors in my area that can prescribe Propecia for me, but I suspect that they won't prescribe Proscar as a cheaper alternative (where I could cut the pills). I don't know if there's a hidden financial incentive for them to refuse Proscar prescription requests for eople looking to stop hair loss, but I wouldn't be surprised. I hate doctors.

I know I can order online without a scrip, but I'd really like to do this the legit way if I can, though I absolutely REFUSE to buy Propecia and spend $55 a month when I can get the same damned drug for a fraction of the cost just by using a pill cutter. What bullshit.

Cool

Wow, I'm definitely gonna check that out, but Crikey what a horribly designed site. The ads to online dating services and website marketing don't do much to give it an air of professionalism either. :hairy: Bit if it's legit, what the hell. :)

50 bucks the first time and 75 each year for refills scripts sound like a lot, but it's not when you compare them to costs of a dr's visits. you don't really need a Doctor that much because you can post pics on here and we can tell you how you're doing.

I calculated the costs with the added consultation, comes to about $30 a month. I can live with that, especially since I spend about as much on vitamin supplements I probably don't need.

Interestingly, the company appears to be suing the pharmeutical industry for anti-trust violations.
