Hi Ladies... i have a few questions if anyone is willing to help. i recently found out that i am anemic. my ferritin level is 16. i read somewhere that if you raise it to above 70, that insures hair growth. my doctor prescribed a iron supplement called Hemopcyte-F. I was wondering if this iron supplement will be enough to raise my iron to 70 ng/ml. does anyone know? i have been on it for two months now and most of the other levels have risen (rbc, hemoglobin, hematocrit), do you know of any other supplement that i can take to raise my ferritin level a little faster?
also, since im going to the derm tomorrow (been waiting for 4 months!) i was wondering if there was anything in particular that i should ask.
