...Because:
1. My hair loss is not TOO bad at the moment (probably NW1 to NW2). I am concerned that, if minoxidil loses efficacy over time, I may actually exacerbate the problem by starting the product, keeping hair 'alive' for an artificially long time (including hair not yet affected by male pattern baldness) , then the product loses effectiveness meaning I have a massive shed of hair in the future, inclusing hair not affected by male pattern baldness. Result - baldness.
2. Related to the above, if the problem gets really bad I may consider a transplant in the future. BUT will I still have to use minoxidil to keep the hair I already had prior to the translplat (inclusing any hair not affected by male pattern baldness)?
3. Are the above 2 questions redundant because minoxidil only works on follicles affected by male pattern baldness?
Any help much appreciated!
