Goodbye Propecia - I tried and maybe it's just not worth it?

I've been on Propecia for about 4 months now excellent results, really quick responder to the drug I've noticed hundeds of little hairs growing all the way about one inch infront of my hairline...

But the only side effect I got was Gyno... I tried to combat it with Aromasin (anti estrogen) IT WORKED so I kept going however... It was messing around with my Prolactin levels so now I was lacating clear liquid from my nipples when squeezed hard!

In order to continue to use Propecia I would have to be pretty much on a life time dose of a AI such as Arimidex or Letro... and on a life time of a dopamine agnostic to combat the Prolactin level. Using all these drugs to counter the finasteride sides by using these other drugs is just crazy, who the f*** knows what sorts of sh*t using the above would cause me in 5 years or less!!!!!

It breaks my heart but atleast I've got a full head of hair with recession at the moment... hopefuly it's slow hairloss and hopefully it halts for awhile but who knows all I know is .... I don't think its worth it

UNLESS I CAN HAVE SURGERY AND COMPLETELY REMOVE EVERY TRACE OF ANY GLANDS IN MY NIPPLES I dont think Propecia is for me..........................

I tried, i swear. Tomorrow i have ablood test to tell me the obvious, going to go to Doctors and get a prescription of Letro to kill off all this Gyno.

And if my hairloss takes a dive soon (im only 19) I am going to jump on steroids and I will make myself the biggest beast in my city haha

Unlucky mate. Ask your doctor about it, maybe it's a tempory thing which will go away like many sides do?

Personally I'd sort the gyno stuff out and then think about going back to a small dose (0.25mg every other day) Or something - Which may at least help you maintain/slow hair loss since you were a good responder.

If not, just go for a topical cocktail and maybe a bit of Saw Palmetto.

I'm pretty certain that this kind of side effect will remain present for as long as I continue taking Propecia. Until I get my hands on Letro and some Arimidex I have stopped taking Propecia. Once I have the Letro and Adex I will think about drastically reducing the dosing of Propecia perhaps .2mg E3D or E4D to bring down the amount of DHT blocked and help stop the negative feedback thats increasing Estrogen and Prolactin, perhaps Bryan could comment on this.

But yeah I am really sick of f*****g around with this sh*t! :(

it sounds like you had some pre-milk. It's common right before you're about to shoot milk out. You could open a daycare center and advertise in big letters on the side of your building, "I have a full head of hair, and as a result I feed babies."

Yes, why would you squeeze them so hard? It might be blood next.

BTW, what would happen if you went for gyne sugery and removed some of the breast tissue? Did you discuss this with your doctor as an option?

Well it takes alot more than Steroids to make you really big but that's another story.

Good luck trying to control your GYNO on steroids even with anti-E's if 1mg/day of propecia give you GYno.

BTW Gyno is caused by many more things than just excessive E2

And it's not even possible to remove all the gland

My sides weren't so severe but I don't like the way Propecia makes my body feel. All I can say is that I tried, but it wasn't for me :nono:
