I told myself multiple times in the past that I would never get a haircut again, unless it was buzzcut, something that I did more than twice ever since my hair loss started. The reasons are obvious:
1 - I don't want them to see my diffuse hair, especially because there is no haircut that would suit me at all. Although my diffusing is not that bad, I can no longer style it how I used to;
2 - I don't want them to see my hair shedding like crazy;
3 - Save money;
Thing is, recently my hair was looking ridiculous. I buzzed it a few months ago, all over with the same clipper number, so I ended up growing a diffuse helmet. I went to a barber today and showed him a pic of John Bernthal in The Punisher series, where his hair is faded on the sides and short on top. If I had the same hair as before, it would've looked dope. But man, I look like sh1t. Not to mention the guy was an absolute brute and probably pulled out more hair than it should've come out. Now I'm too embarrassed to go outside.
Don't get too cocky like me, fellas. And don't go to the barber.
