Guys I just got my Finpecia from UnitedPharmacies, and was planning to only take 1mg tablet a day. Is this what you guys suggest? It seems from my reading there is no difference between 1mg or 5mg a day. I am probably in the late stages of NW2a or possibly early NW3. Hairline has receeded a great deal, but it seems the back of my head is worse than the front. I suffer from severe depression, and to be honest with you I dont wont to take a pic and find out. I started losing it when I was 18 and now I am 32. Other day I say myself on a videotape and just realized how bad it is. I got so down in the dumps about it I didnt even leave my house for 3 days. Bad thing about this is I started Propecia when it first came out, but I listened to people around me tell me I was just wasteing my money, that it was just a ripoff. Know telling how much hair I would have if I would have just listened to myself and not otheres. I know without a doubt millions of other people have it worse off than I do, but we all handle our problems differently and I feel this will finally be the one that pushes me over the edge. Do you suggest anything with the Finpecia? I went to the local WalMart to pick up some Nizoral shampoo, but wasnt sure it was the type most people here use. Couldnt find what strength it was only that it had 1% ketoconazole. Was thinking about Rogaine but I am worried about the shedding some say goes along with it. Im not sure I can risk the shedding. Is there a huge difference between the 2% and 5%? Fellows any type of advice, suggestions, or anything else will definitely be appreciated.

1 mg is fine. Just start out with that, take it for a year, and if you aren't happy with the results, then consider switching to Avodart.

The active ingredient strength is how Nizoral is measured. Seeing as Ketaconazole is the active ingredient, if it says 1% keto then you have 1% Nizoral, and that's fine. 1% is just as effective as 2% so use that every 3 days with your finpecia.

if you are near nw3, and have been nw2 for well over a year, I would start with dutasteride, not finasteride. finasteride will help you keep what you have.

anyway, finasteride can't give you a depression. not possible, except indirectly as a result of your new focus on your hair or if you get sexual side effects. just regrow some of your hair. that will cure the depression.

Thanks for the input. Yeah, my depression is from other things, and having the hair loss is just adding to my depression. Thanks again.

i went through the depression as well, started by my male pattern baldness (even though not that bad) lasted even through my regrowth, did the meds and therapy... doing pretty good now, still lack motivation but only use the adderall for that

tried quite a few number anti-depression meds too and combinations, they of course work best with some type of therapy

That is http://www.unitedpharmacies.com and http://www.inhousepharmacy.com. Some web sites have similar names.

inhouse has free shipping and generally lower prices, though not a lot lower. united has more variety. but inhouse has everything I want, so i just shop there.

have you gotten the results from your tests on the drugs yet, college?

curious to find out

And as for lower prices, united's 1 year supply of finpecia is 50 bucks cheaper than in house's.
