The before pics were taken 8/2007, after pics were taken 6/2008. I have had more regrowth in the past 4 months and my crown is now fully covered plus the middle has thickened up more.

I started my Regime 4 months prior to having the first pics taken and my hair was much worse before I had any pics taken. Before pic is after 4 months on drugs, after pic is 14 months on drugs


Rogaine foam 2x's a day, Nizoral 2% 3x's a week, Generic Proscar ( Teva from CVS) 1.25 mg /day.

The before pics were taken 1 year post op of 1K grafts. I have had 2K grafts done total in my life. 500 FU in 2000, 500 FU in 2001, 1K Fu in 2006.


Thinking about putting 1K in my hairline this January with Dr Shapiro. Previous work was done by Dr Ivan Cohen in Fairfield , CT

The first pic you see is one year AFTER my last hair transplant. I have not had any work done since 2006.

I have had 2K grafts done in my lifetime (2000-2006)

I am tenatively scheduled to pack 1K in my hairline in January but most people think I don't need it.

They're right, don't waste the money it looks absolutely fine. I would be thrilled to death if my hair looked like that.

The first 1k were placed behind my origianl hairline at age 31. The next 1k were spread out over the frontal 1/3. No crown work and no intensive hairline work has been done

One thing that does concern me is shock loss, I wonder how the new hair would hold up to surgery. I just added a pic (poor quality taken with a cell phone) from one month post op of my last 1K procedure in 8/2006. As you can see I had VERY BAD shock loss !

You can also see some of my crown on the new pic and it was very thin. No work was done here, this was all hair loss drugs

One thing I should add is I use a bottle of foam approx every 13 days. I use it from my hairline to my crown and there is no way you could cover that much area with the reccomended dose
