I'm sure people on hairlosstalk probably are tired of posts like this, but I will do it anyways since I have the opportunity to stay anonymous.

Probably like everyone on this forum I'm afraid of loosing too much of my hair. First I thought Propecia was too good to be true. But I realized after a little research that it some cases ruined the sex life of people, and that was such a big turn of that I most likely will never put a Propecia pill in my stomach. So I was searching for alternatives for to see if I could gain any product that would keep my hair on my head. HLTs quick guide to treating hair loss seemed a good place to start looking for products. So what products seem fine for me to use at the moment is Nizoral Shampoo, since iv got inflammation on my scalp. Revivogen and Tricomin Therapy Spray. Since I'm not known with the side effects with these products or the general results I would like to hear from the consumers and members of this forum, what their experience is with the product. I'm such an anxious guy that I often get so obsessed with things they turn out OCD. I'm also going to start on ritalin for my ADHD real soon, and I wanted to know if this could further cause complications with the hair products I want to use. My first and foremost task is to find products that can keep my hair on my head. Any other recommendations on lifestyle, food and other hair products(link to other topics if you don't want to construct a new message) will be gladly appreciated.

Cheers!

Hi

I don't know where you're getting that Propecia ruins the sex life of some people. I thought any side effects were a) rare (2% of people maybe), and b) temporary

One another forum for side effects, there are many stories of severe side effects that takes a long time to regenerate to its normal level.

Wow. Well I guess you have to decide who to trust, but I come down on the side of clinical trials. I know the pharmaceutical companies have to make their money and it's easy to think they'll do that without due regard for our safety, but I choose to believe that some testing is better than none. So I'd rather buy a tested product. But hey, that's just my opinion, I don't really want to get into an argument over it :)

Good luck with your hair loss control efforts, let us know how you get on with it.

All the best

the 'many stories' are from the only three active users that forum has who claim they have permanent side effects and attempt to scare others into not taking finasteride. Take them with a ton of salt. As Stubell said, sides are rare and temporary, but in the end only you can make the decision
