growing on hairline, but overall hair has thinned slightly

is that a good sign? I've been on finasteride and minoxidil 5% once a day for about 5 months. It is pretty obvious that i have quite a bit of hair growing along my hairline, but the overall hair density has thinned slightly... i think. I'm just hoping any time now that my hair will start growing in thicker. any comments would help greatly

Could the overall thinning be due to a shed that you didn't notice?

i say wait until the 12 month. Its coz hair grows in cycles.
