I just came across this video:
He tried two different stool donors, but it didn't work. Then he takes iodine and does it again and it works. He says he tried iodine on its own in the past, but then in the second video he postulates that maybe it was just the iodine.
One note is that he's treating commercial gut microbiome tests with too much respect. These tests are largely not useful https://humanmicrobiome.info/testing/.
Another important factor is donor quality. You can absolutely get worse and develop new conditions from a bad donor. I hope that kind of thing doesn't happen here. I've seen support forums for other chronic diseases do that as well...
Youtube is so useless now as well. They automatically remove most of my comments so I can't even comment there to let them know I posted about their video here. People really need to move to alternatives. These huge companies control way too much public information.
