yes I noticed that too
Increase of T may lead to sheds if you only use finasteride/dutasteride

You need CB(clascoterone) this will halt the loss

Im just a layperson so don't back my word for gospel, but I don't think that the modest, temporary increase in testosterone you get from going to the gym is going to be enough to significantly increase hair loss. If you're really worried about it stop going, but my 2 cents is that your worries are probably unfounded. This of course, is not the case if you're taking steroids, however. Steroid use can definitely accelerate hairloss, as well as being bad for your general health. Please safeguard your health and stop taking them.

I actually spoke to a dermatologist today called Dr Yeona Yip and she also didnt think it would affect it significantly. She has prescribed me oral minoxidil tablets. I currently take 1.25mg finasteride daily for 8 months.

Thoughts on oral minoxidil?

As far as I know going to gym and maintaining a healthy workout regime wouldn’t cause any hair loss!

Depends what you are doing and how much. I don't believe the increased T from working out is the issue. It's the increased cortisol and the depletion of thyroid hormone from over training may make Androgenetic Alopecia worse. 5AR deactivates cortisol. Consistent increases in cortisol may lead to more 5AR production to inactivate cortisol in order to preserve metabolic function (high cortisol with high insulin leas to metobolic syndrome).

Where do you read this ? Usually high cortisol is associated to low testosterone .

I inferred it from studies done on 5ar inhibitors and their affect on metabolic phenotypes.

High 5AR does not equal high T.

As 5AR increases, more DHT is made which causes feedback through the HPA axis to create less T. High DHT actually inhibits T production. This is why T increases when you take 5AR inhibitors.

So in the scenario I described, cortisol increases, 5AR increases to inactivate cortisol which also leads to greater T to DHT conversion and consequently reduced T production. As T decreases and DHT increases, you become less anabolic and more androgenic which is horrible for not just scalp hair but health and aging in general.

If it was like you described, corticoids which raises a lot cortisol should cause premature baldness.

wait I'm confused, doesn't more testosterone increases hair loss when you're sensitive to DHT?
one of the ways to battle metabolic syndrome is by taking TRT, to increase testosterone, are you saying that not only it will not accelerate hair loss, it would slow it down?
how does that make sense?
