Has anyone here suffered from Gyno from taking propecia? If you did, were you overweight to begin with or pretty fit? I have an athletic build, I've been feeling some tenderness and discomfort along/below my right breast. I don't know if this is a symptom of gyno. I talk to a Dr and he said I should discontinue the drug, but I don't want to give up on propecia. I'm hoping that it will go away. Has this happened to anyone else/

I had some initial discomfort for the first few months when taking finasteride, but this went away and I haven't had any issues for the last 2+ years. Your body goes through a bit of an adjustment period when you start on the stuff, so your e levels might be elevated.

Discomfort doesn't necessarily mean gyno. But if you do continue, make sure you take GOOD pictures of your chest (from / side) and check for any growth.

I had a small hard lump develop under my left nipple about 4 months or so into taking finasteride. I tried to wait it out for around six months but it did not subside and was extremely painful. I am somewhat fit and will tell you that there is no confusing it with fat nipples. Gyno starts as a hard lump under the nipple due to the gland swelling.
