I've read a few reports in old posts of propecia induced gyno. Is there any lifestyle changes (short of dropping finasteride) that would reduce your chances of getting this? Or is it basically if you're going to get it, it's a matter of time, if you're not, then you wont? Any advice is appriciated thanks.

That may help with fatty gyno but not fatty glandular, or glandular. There really isn't any preventative measures you can take other than taking an anti-estrogen which isn't recommended unless you are actually experiencing gynecomastia.

Why are anti-estrogens not recommended? Some people on different forums take AE for long period of times. Is it dangerous to do so?

yes they have possible side effects as well. There's no need to take them as a preventative measure.....Reported gyno side effects from finasteride are like .5%.
the chances of getting it is slim to none....
