this exact same thing happened to me about a week ago
really?

same scenario and everything?

i'm thinking . . . . . . . couch, perhaps the couch is a subconscious image of sigmund freuds couch

the girl could represent being shallow and dumb, the mirror of course is self image . . . . .

Are you taking meds...if not you should.I feel one such as yourself will never function being bald.

Haha maybe, nice dissection of your dream there!

My scenario was different, i was having my haircut and the girl who was cutting it showed me the back and i had a massive bald spot. I woke up in agony, i felt so bad as i understood the helplessness people with severe hairloss must feel. I woke up and i started writing a thread but i deleted it as i was worried it might come across bad, some nw2 saying i feel for the nw4+'s. Ive always said since my first thread how i dont think people like me should tell bald people what to feel, but just that brief insight, to have stood in there shoes for just for a brief dream made me realise quite how much i have no idea how it must feel. I have a lot of respect for people bald guys, they have to put up with a hell of a lot of crap

You seem very sensitive(like me),and also a deep thinker(also like me). These combined dont bode well for dealing with societies extreme hatred for baldies.

last night i had a nightmare i had suddenly turned full nw6 and was just laying on a couch while this girl from my old high school (high school i went to first 3 years, no hair loss was had there, other than very minor crown loss in junior year) just sat there and she was telling me how ugly and old i looked

i remember getting up and looking in the mirror in horror, god it was a horrible feeling. strange thing was this was a girl i haven't thought about in ages, i didn't even like her that much, she was a typical dumb partying white girl, :dunno:

ucman, saf, and HPM, i feel for you guys

yes and turn that nightmare into MY REALITIY at the age of 22 :)

and being 5 4.5 (yes i know i keep harping on about it)

i've had the hair loss subject randomly pop up and me breaking down and crying in my dreams.

also had a dream of me destroying my home due to balding induced rage.

Hair is a social security blanket. Without it you are exposed to ridicule. Which is why dreams like yours occur... similar to leaving the house without pants dreams. The idea is the same. Social convention dictating something that covers up any indecencies. I live your nightmare whenever I'm exposed in public, and people DO look at me like I forgot to put my pants on before leaving the house. Imagine what that feels like...

I have exact opposite dreams from time to time. That my hair is fully back again, than to wake up and face harsh reality.

i love those dreams, they feel so real! in my dreams i always start off bald but then i somehow magically comb my hair back into existance, as if my baldness was just a styling issue all along. and i can actually *feel* the weight of long thick dream hair. i always rush to the mirror in my dream and i swell with pride and confidence as i swish my bangs from side to side. it's an awesome feeling. then when i wake up and i actually feel pretty good.

so so so true

i honestly think mentally we are more like mid 20s then late teens

one old lady once told me my behaviour was more akin to that of a old man than a young guy. like the way i act shows i've been through a lot of suffering in life. and that was before hair loss. imagine me now.

You too? I had that dream too. I had a nice thick, lush head of hair and I was doing this girl that I had a MAJOR crush on all 4 years of high school. It was one of the most awesome (wet) dreams ever ... then I had to wake up! :sobbing:

When I have a good dream, which happens rarely, I realise that this is dream in the end and try not to wake up. I continue doing something there, enjoying everything around and at the same time I realise it's not real. Funny...

if you've seen the hitman movie
remmember that odd scene , some woman tries to instigate flirting while 47 is having a drink at the bar. he's not interested, stands up and leaves the scene without saying much while she is left with a dumbfounded look on her face. at the time i thought nothing of it but now looking back it has found a whole new meaning. a woman trying to flirt with a strange sly man and getting rejected is truly a sight to behold, don't see that sh*t every day. irl it'd be more plausible with switched roles. lol

That woman is supoosed to be a prostitute, but are you really trying to tell me that most women would find Timothy Olyphant unnatractive? He probably gets more women than 99% of NW1's.

lol you're making it sound as if he's a Norwood 6

why would they find him unattractive? he's not bald and won't ever be, he was only sly for the hitman role
irl Olyphant is no more than a Norwood 2- 2,5 and also in his 40's. that's hardly detrimental. i wish i had his hair genes.

I thought you were saying that as a sly guy he would be bald in most peoples eyes.
