Hair Density Looks Greater when Wet?

What's the deal here guys? I thought hair was supposed to look thinner when wet, but when I pull my hair back wet and everything, I can see aloooot of hair, some of which even looks like shorter new hairs growing in among all the rest, but when dry it doesn't look as thick. Maybe once the new hairs grow in longer and things settle down, it'll look just as thick dry?

Deaner my little brother...

Im in the same boat, when my hair is wet it looks awesome, but when it drys it has its rough spot.

I think this happens because when the hair is wet the cortex swells and the edges of the cuticle scales tend to lift. This given the impression of a much thicker hair, when it drys, things sort of go back to normal.

I could be wrong....

Anyone.

Same situation for me. When my hair is wet, it looks great. When it dries, the hair loss is noticable to me.

Perhaps you "greater density when wet guys" should go for the wet look style.
