Hair follicle/stem cell cloning

Now I am am aware of what Histogen/Replicel etc are doing when it comes to cells and forgive me if I'm wrong or it's been done before but if you can have a hair transplant where they move a stronger, more resistant resistant hair follicle to the bald areas then why can they not get a hair follicle from the back, clone it hundreds of thousands of times and then implant each and every one all over the head allowing new hair to grow?

Surely then you would have a full head of DHT resistant hair?

I suppose if you were a millionaire and had access to labs and doctors you could do it right?

Thoughts?

(Sorry if this is in the wrong forum)

Because apparently cloning is a lot harder than it sounds

Oh no I know, I'm sure by no means cloning is "easy".. It's a complicated genetic process but it's still possible and surely one day could be considered cheap enough as a viable cure?

They can basically grow meat in labs nowadays and the process is getting cheaper and cheaper. Could cloning one day also not see a price drop?

Cloning isn't available yet because, believe or not, each follicle is a tiny organ by itself. This means that it's much more difficult to clone and have it behave properly than replicating a single type of tissue like the epidermis or muscle mass (which is different from a "muscle" as a whole).

So you could have all the money in the world, you still wouldn't have a full head of hair through cloning.

I'm just hoping society doesn't collapse before we have a full on, permanent cure. My supply of Finasteride would be limited and I wouldn't want to be scavenging clinics with a chrome dome.

Hello everybody,

I am new here and i wanted to say congrats for the level of information that is posted.

I know everybody is looking to what Histogen and Replicel(Sheishido) are doing because they truly offer (in theory) the ultimate solution.

In my searches i also found a more close rage solution without the 'cloning'/replication of the cells. They went with the approach of transferring the cells and self regeneration in the donor area. The study is already tested on humans and from the link below they already have some results with the amendment that if the latest result will be good they will make it available for everybody this autumn.

Given the fact that i see a lot of people with experience i am really looking forward to what you think.

Thanks!
