Hair is really thin after a week of minoxidil HELPP!!!!!!!!

i am using minoxidil from the brand kirkland for a week now
and i perceive that my hair got really thin on the crown never have been so thin before
i am scared .. is this a shedding phase what means a good thing right ? or is it a bad sign that it is not working..
please help...
i am using finasteride too 1mg a day.
i would appreciate any respond

My Regimen:
2x per week Revita Shampoo
Every Day 1 MG Finasteride (Finpecia) Using For 7 Months
Everyday once 1ml Minoxidil Using For 1 Week

its normal. In fact it can be a good thing the hair that is falling out is in the resting phase anyways it would have fallen out sooner than later anyway. I have been using minoxidil on and off for 2 years now. I never had as bad of a shed with anything else than kirkland. But kirkland grew out more hair than anything else for me as well. My nasty shed lasted about a month, and 2 months after that I regrew tons of hair, which I still maintain.

As for the finasteride it can cause major shedding as well. The one thing you shouldnt do at this point is to quit. I know the shedding sucks but we all go through it. You just have to ride it out. Sometimes you have to lose a little to gain a lot.
