Hair loss accelerating? what does this mean?

What does it mean if one notices the thinning of hair going a bit faster?
I havn't changed any routine - still minoxidil and finasteride combo...Have not been consistent I agree but in the last month my temples have accelerated. What does this mean?

I've booked my first transplant procedure for 2000 grafts in a week from now, I had already done this before I noticed this acceleration taking place.
