There are so many examples in history and around us now of people who got a real raw deal or went through a terrible hardship and were able to move on. Think of people who get through cancer or war or false imprisonment or who are victims of terrorism. Why not us with hair loss too?

This thread is about the things that you're doing or feeling regarding accepting your hair loss, and moving ahead with your life, whatever your quality of life may be. What are you doing to accept it and live with it? I'll start

-Trying nofap again. I don't really believe that it gives special powers, but I might feel better while on it and feel less bummed about being bald and single.
-Learning even more about investment. When your future doesn't involve supporting a family or children, there's a real possibility of retiring early if one invests well. Taking risks is also a bit more appropriate in this case.
-Exploring the world's religions to see if one of them agrees with me.
-Reading different books throughout the week, rather than one at a time, spanning different areas such as history, philosophy, science, politics, finance.

When it comes to accepting it if medications and other methods fail, the thing that would help me move on is making myself attractive despite the shaved head. So good skin, good clothes, good body, etc.

I’d go full longevity too. And I’d consider smp too because I think that can be done well

I just think it hits too many at a young age. Bald at 18-23? You're pretty much alone with that. For example, I hardly have any hair on my head at the age of 26. Nobody around me has these problems. those I know only got problems with it when they were 35-50. So you feel almost alone and quite vulnerable and you don't have the feeling of being aesthetic in relation to others. of course you notice that in dating too. Especially young women do not find baldness particularly attractive and it is not for nothing that the term "hatfish" is used in the single apps ( don't usw them). Still, for me it is more of a self-doubt. it's not that hair makes me stand out (that it's not part of my personality), but I find myself absolutely ugly with thin hair or bald head and I don't feel comfortable with it. a hair system wasn't for me either. felt like a foreign body to be pushed off. my skin could speak volumes of it (red and irritated. unfortunately I am very sensitive to stimuli).
That means even the attempt to accept it is only a compromise, because there is no other way. and even when I sometimes thought that I could take it, I still always caught myself looking at Other ppl hairs.

Right, we like to trick ourselves into saying all men bald. But most men don’t bald in their twenties. Some slight recession? Yeah. But diffuse thinning and visible hair loss? That mostly happens later on

correct. and I don't think it's that easy to think positively. after all, this is the time when the focus is on appearance, attractiveness. I mean, what is the main tenor here when someone advises to cut a bald head? do sports! go pumping. good tips, as they also have health aspects with them. But the intention behind it is always "compensate for the hair loss "and thus again part of the aesthetics. For me personally it is cruel. I come from a very tolerant area, but apparently not when it comes to hair loss

I only hope that all these companies researching hair loss come to some sort of happy ending for most of us

I hope that too. I find it disappointing and a shame that it is not a big topic of discussion within society. of course it is nothing life-threatening, but more than purely cosmetic. how many suffer from depression because of it? I think it would be enough to generate a greater understanding within society and to shed more light on this

I mean, of course, it feels like sh*t to lose your hair, if only for aesthetic reasons, or if you "never knew it any other way". And even if the sadness catches up with you about the trivial every now and then, it is of course not good to indulge in something inevitable. I just try to be more active, to do more and to come to terms with myself or to see what or who I am.

I don't think, by the way, that the goal is to see whether a religion is in line with one's own opinion: D

ye get smp or an hairpiece if baldness bothers you and hair transplant is not an option

Hair system myself currently and love it!!! Bald is ok...

I cared less about hair loss when I used to be on hardcore strong meds in the past...
But wasn't on them for just the hair loss anxiety and depression it caused..
I have GAD, PTSD(trauma), depression, panic disorder, and other things.
I used to be on Pregabalin(Lyrica) and Venlafaxine(Effexor).
Currently I use CBD oil instead. Although not as effective.

What brand of CBD oil do you use?
