I have been on propecia for 3 years and recently changed to dutasteride for the past 6 months. Had really good results at the start but now shedding alot of hair again. Has anyone has any similar experiences and can suggest anything to prevent it. Any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

the shedding as I understand it, comes and goes more fiercly because of the syncronization of your hair when you started dutasteride... so now when you shed, it's all over at once... and not as it was before... a little everywhere over time...
but I've read that eventually after some years, it will go back to normal, the shedding that is...
and If you shed before, AND regrew, you can be pretty certain that it will happen again...

you are the best person to test dutasteride, too. People who were on propecia for a long time and switch would lose a lot of hair fast if the dutasteride was fake. See my avatar. I'm in the same boat, and waiting it out. So far I don't know if I'm losing or gaining.
How fast were you losing hair before you started propecia? Did you get a lot of regrowth from propecia? Where did you get your dutasteride? I think it is too early to tell, but in a year you will definitely know.
