/perhaps hair loss all comes down to low blood flow/ oxygen, dht seems to only be a problem in low oxygen environments, something simple as brushing may solve it?
T
here is the woman's blog who got hairline regrowth from brushing (http://recedinghairline.blogspot.co.uk/), the photos take a long time to load, but are archived here: https://web.archive.org/web/20120608033532/http://community.webshots.com/album/134834966CJnqdG

Obviously big pharma wouldn't support or study something like this that can be cured with a 5 dollar hair brush.

The theory of using a boar bristle brush seems to have been around for quite a while and I think I remember some members likening it to some kind of wounding, which, apparently, can help create new follicles if done properly.

Nevertheless, using a simple brush is bound to cause such a small disruption that someone afflicted by male pattern baldness won't benefit from it much, if at all. You're better off using a dermaroller / dermapen / dermastamp if you want to give wounding a try.

Acording to my theory, a good hair brush is advisable to avoid acumulation of sebum in hair follicles, it is similar to the intim contact with an absorvent surface with the pillow, o even massaging the scalp.

DHT is only a problem in low oxygen environments? So if there is more oxygen DHT just stops causing hair miniaturization?

I have heard this too. Can anyone who has more knowledge through some light on this topic?

Sounds too easy... if it was only an oxygen flow problem, it would have already been solved by now.

Oxygenating a scalp plagued by seborrhea dermatitis might improve s.d. symptoms.
However until further exploration yields hypothetical
support or insightful discovery;
I wouldn't hold our breath too long without artificial 02 support of our own
(as far as anticipating this method will alleviate symptomatic Androgenetic Alopecia).

Although I'ld love for you to see me eating my own words anytime now. :cool:

While I am aware that the mechanism by which minoxidil stimulates hair growth is not fully understood, one of the hypotheses is that it promotes vasodilation and hence enhances blood flow to follicles.

I mention this because I recently ordered ITPP (myo-inositol trispyrophosphate) for athletic purposes, however after thinking about it I'm going to be keeping closer tabs on my hairline, as well. ITPP acts essentially by freeing more oxygen from hemoglobin than takes place under normal conditions, so theoretically supplementation with it COULD have an effect on hair, as well. I began searching the internet after thinking about this and came across this patent (edit: not letting me post it, google "WO 2014145037 A1"). Clearly this supplement is nothing groundbreaking, however if it makes even 10% difference I'd be happy.
