Pretty much the title. I first started noticing hair loss when I was 19, and though it's been slow, it's slowly starting to get to the stage where I have to avoid certain haircuts. It kills me as my hair is very important to me, and it's either I accept this fate or I fight it using treatments that can cause a slew of other problems. It's hard to look forward to the future when your first thought is whether or not you'll look like an egg at that time. How do you all cope with this? It's honestly made me extremely depressed, a lot more than I would like to admit.

Same and I get very jealous and envy people around my age with great hair.
I'm a norwood 7 and I look awful like that if shaved.
I do feel somewhat happier with a hair system now, although it's not a permanent solution.
However will stick with it until I'm wrinkled and grey haired at the sides/back. As people care less about their looks when much older.

Just f*** you all. Sorry, but this forum is a freak show. Look at his girlfriend. Many girls will find you look better with hair (Often young foolish teens or girls in their early 20´s, many will not care (They just give a f*** about your baldness) and few will even like it.

I was for some weeks in this forum. I am going to quit and move on. Had my eyes open and far too many examples of imo real ugly looking and bald guys, that have found nice girls, have a good life. I am 6 feet 1, good tanned, my face looks years younger than I am and in summer I lookj latino-like. I am not going to destroy my body with meds, or glueing some sh*t on my head. I am going to work out my body massive and improve my clothing style.

Hair loss and baldness affects a large number of men which means the chances of a woman knowing someone that has some form of hair loss or are bald is high. Because of this they have a father, brother, uncle, friend, etc. and it is not out of the ordinary to see. I am surrounded by people who are bald or have noticeable hair loss and they live their lives normally.

it all depends on how your head shape is, how good looking your face is and many other factors. if i could look good with buzz cut or shave head, i wouldnt be there. its not same for everybody. later on you might regret shaving it off and not trying to save as many hair follicles as you have now even with simple minoxidil or else. im in same situation myself just without opton of just shaving it. wont work for me

Yes, there are millions of men suffer from hairloss, and probably alot dont really care, but people are different, and are bothered by different issues.

Yeah. I would. There are enough childs waiting for adoption. I came for some tips but found nothing else than pure desperation and
cloistered in terms of hair. That is not healthly man. This forum is an endless spiral of depression. Reading here seems like, balding is the end of world. And if you have a more uncommon problem with balding than usual, you won´t find any good here.
This forum here is not the reality. It has a very bad mind game. No girld would like such person. That baldness would in this case be the last problem.
It has shown me, how I won´t end. I will move on with my life. You can write the next years posts, be sad or what else. Untill hair cloning will come out, a machine which could implantate many hairs at once and all will be afforadble, nothing will real help for those, who dont want to take heavy meds like finasteride or are not responding. I am taking finasteride, I see new babyhairs in new areas, but I dont feel good on finasteride and therfore will quit it. I am now ashamed, that my charactarial weakness did made me take any pills with unknown long term effects and bad sides. (Merck is a joke; finasteride has heavy impact)

Good for you! Judging by your pictures you have a pretty nice head shape and facial features to somewhat pull it off somehow.
But, for example, I have no chance of looking OK with a buzzed/shaved head, so I'm stuck in these forums as many other people are.
And people who look OK bald (you) shouldn't be giving s**t to people who look subhuman bald. That's not that different than full heads telling balding people to just man up.

Thank you. I know. But I dont know why I ever started finasteride and come here. With some muscles on me, and a bit shorter cut I will like myself very much. But I was like you. When it comes to my mindgame. Girls said, that i look good with this cut and I thought she said that just cause ofpity. Which such mindgame, you are desperate enough to take meds like finasteride. ( I was, and now tipping it off. I dont want risk my health. I feel more sleepy, more feminin and my mind is telling me to stop this sh*t before it cause more harm. No longterm effects are 100% sure. Look into propecia help. Yes, many of the guys exaggerate. But finasteride is causing also things like fat loss or fat gain and this is scary as f***. Its not on the package. Merck is very irresponsible. You can also see at trumps eyes, that he has finasteride side effects)
But show a foto of yours. I cant imagine that it is that bad.
