I.3 Myth: Shedding is an indication that Propecia is working

Dr Lee seems to think that the use of propecia should not at any time induce a shedding phase. I found this interesting after reading countless times in this forum that shedding is a sign that propecia is working. Why does Dr Lee think this and many here believe the opposite? Just curious.
Here's the link if anyone is interested in reading the rest...a lot of good info here, I believe.....www.xandrox.com/myths/html

For that matter, Dr. Lee firmly believes that using Azelic acid in Xandrox completely eliminates the need for any other DHT blocker like Propecia

I think people interpret "shedding" as being caused by finasteride. IMO it's really male pattern baldness progressing before the finasteride has had any noticeable cosmetic effect. Granted, I'm only treating 2-3mm of temple recession, but it hasn't gotten worse since starting finasteride.

I saw no regrowth at the temples using his Xandrox solutions.

Well if the "regrowth after propecia shed" poll found in the shedding thread is any indication, then Dr. Lee is definitely right about it being a myth.
