hair spray

hi all.
i use as concealer lately a product called TOPIK combined with hair spray to hold my hair from flying in the wind.
is there anything bad about using hair spray on your hair for a few days without washing it if i want it to stay as is?
does it do any dmg?

well the reason im asking is because i've read in several places that hair spray is not healthy for the hair and i nned to know if thats true or not?
anyone knows anything on this subject?
