Hair style for diffuse pattern alopecia

Hello everyone!

I was curious how other men with DPA style their hair. I am not talking about concealers.
Currently I am using American Crew fiber and I comb my hair over. I am considering combing my hair back with a shinier product now that I am starting to regrow hair (13 months finasteride). Any suggestions?

Hey! I just use a mousse for volume and a clay wax for shape/texture, works great. Stay away from gel and such, but i don't know about your hair loss, gel for me at least is a no go.

damp hair that's been towel dried. add in mousse and apply evenly by slicking hair back, then blowdry against the grain for volume.

After all that, use a high hold pomade for finish. I personally can endorse american crew fiber, hanz de fuko claymation, and layrite originial. For a shinier product, topcoat it with layrite high shine or murrays light

Dermmatch

Use Dermmatch and grow your hair a little. It makes me look completley normal. You can't really go too short or it looks easier to detect. Keep back and sides down to a No.2 or3 and have a bit more on top to play with. I kinda do the roughged up side parting. Somedays its better than others but it really does fill in the gaps.
Gonna hopefully post my own thread shortly to talk more about this sort of thing.

Hair spray too. Spray it on, let it dry. then brush it out - thickens it up, makes it look more natural. then spray it again to keep it in check.
