I suffered from very bad hair loss starting at around 19 and i began to use propecia to halt further hair falling out.
Having been using propecia for just over a year now, my hair has not gotten any worse so I decided to roll the dice and have an FUE hair transplant. (Currently 9 weeks post op)
The redness is starting to go away and tiny hair are now starting to grow!
Just thought I'd share this because my hair loss was terrible, then halted with prooecia, and decided I wanted my hair back! I'm not an expert, but I think younger people who are prepared to have a second hair transplant in later life should go for a transplant (as long as thier hair loss is not further progressing!)
Cheers
Don't know how to put pictures up, if someone tells me then I will!
