Varies with person and doctor. I actually never looked as my scars are covered by hair and in the back.

Good luck

Took few years before the "hump" of the scar receded in back and was less noticeable. Probably two years...

I have plugs in my temple and hairline region and the scars in front and back that come with them. If I shave my head, those scars are very noticeable, no matter what I use to hide them. Especially after any exposure to the sun.

I can cut my hair as short as a #2 and not see scarring. But, with the positive results I've seen lately from the big 3, I'm now cutting it with a #4 about every 6 weeks and letting it grow out in between. It's a bit more difficult to apply topicals to hair that is an inch and a half long as opposed to only a half inch, but it's not impossible or even frustrating.
