Hairloss And Degradation Of Hair Quality

-When I was a child I had long silky smooth hair,
-2 years ago, at 19 I noticed a recession at my temples (NW0> NW1).
- 1 year ago I started finasteride + minoxidil. Many would have said that I was crazy to start so early for such a mild recession.
-Few before the start of my treatment so about 1 year ago, I started to grow medium hair. Only my hair was of poor quality, it had become curly, dry, full of frizz. Pretty sad I preferred to cut. I had noticed, however, that my hair on the sides was noticeably better, but I figured it was just me.
-In October I decided once again to grow them.
-It is mid-January, I have not really had any regrowth but I imagine that I maintain. But I noticed that my hair not only grew at a very fast speed, but was above all of much better quality, it was much smoother, shiny, etc...

So I come to my question, is it possible that in baldness, the quality of hair degrades even before its real miniaturization.
If this is the case it would confirm that a deterioration in hair quality is an omen of the baldness start, and that I was damn right to take fina

I remember reading a "theory" long ago, about how the average person loses 50% of their hair before realising they are balding. Moreover, they went on about how scalp follicles contain 2-5 strands of hair as opposed to body hair or facial hair for example. Thus, when balding kicks in, the follicles lose the ability to with hold multiple strands of hair, and it ends up 1 strand of hair from each follicle. As you may imagine, the density and thickness of overall hair falls and the person may notice their hair falls flat on their scalp as opposed to years ago. Some people are born with naturally flat "weak" hair thickness, so the odds to disregard such density loss if you were born with thick hair is quite high as opposed to noticing when Norwood 3+ kicks in.

Anyhow, i don't know if this "theory" is even a theory or it has truth to it, but i command you on starting treatment very early ( if really it was Androgenetic Alopecia in its ealiest onset) .

I'm really talking about the quality of the hair. When my hair was dry, curly, it was dense. More or less hair does not change the intrinsic quality of each hair. When I run my hands through my hair, it slides easily, whereas a few months ago it was a horror.

Eyyy man, i know French but why the sudden change in language lmao.

Eitherway, hair degredation does come even without the balding gene. as a toddler, your hair is very thick. Once you mature, hairline moves back and matures, and there is a very high chance of slight to moderate hair degradation. It's normal and even happens to those who don't bald. The cells required by hair follicles (and every cell really) do get older as we do, and they divide much slower and die faster. Try biotin 10000 mcg / Nizoral , they will aid your hair quality very much.

ah sorry i hadn't paid attention.
But then why since I started the treatment the texture of the hair is improved? I had already seen a post like me, of a guy who had noticed an improvement in the texture of his hair, much less curly just like me.

On the forum everyone talks about thickness, and density but never about the texture of the hair.

I can relate. Hair being of a shitty texture before starting to notice hairloss.
