hey, im 19 years old and noticed i had very high hairline since i was 14, norwood 2 i would say. it also had an irregular shape. left temple was smaller than the right one. i was worried im going bald but didnt put that much importance to it. my father and everybody on his side has thick head of hair and look very young. my grandfather's brother is over 80 and isnt even completely gray and has very fine hair. however my maternal grandfather has hair similiar to mine. but started to recede around 33.

I thought i was young and people my age just cant go bald. after that as years were passing i was regularly checking my hairline to a point it became a tick and i did it obsessively. i was alway rubbing my hair or fiddling with it ( i never did it agressively though).

when i was 16 i started to worry more because my left temple started to get a bit thinner. i asked the hairdresser if that's hairloss and she said it's just new hair growing. this continued and i was checking my hair more and more and sometimes had rage quits when i would just kinda go mad and pull even som hair. i noticed that it was truly receding at 17 and after that it got worse. the biggest difference to touch happened before last summer when i would put my hand around neck area and i would have full hand of hair. as if it sped up like 10 times. my right temple got weaker and i think i even started thinning on crown since september. it's as if i went from nw2 straight to Norwood 3. can the hair fiddling take part on the speed of hairloss ?here are the pictures
