Are you noticing any thinning? Are the hairs falling out from the roots, or breaking off? I couldn't tell I had telogen effluvium and seborrhea at first, because my hairs were breaking off from a particularly harsh set of hair treatments. It wasn't until I noticed a bald spot, and thinning that I went to the doctor. The harsh treatments caused me to reduce my shampooing schedule to every 2 days, and I was using a mild, sulphate-free shampoo which does not remove the hair's natural oils as much as regular shampoos. I was also doing all these keratin/argan oil treatments to help with dryness (the fungus that causes seborrheic dermatitis LOVES oil!) I was also under a lot of stress from a bad break-up, and wasn't eating properly because I was at work all the time. The result was scalp inflammation, and generalized thinning of my hair.

I still dye whatever hair I have left, but I use semi-permanent dyes. It probably doesn't help my condition, however dying my hair helps me deal with having thinning hair.

Honestly, losing 100 hairs a day is within the normal range of hair loss for everyone. It could just be seasonal changes, or a bit of inflammation. If you're really concerned, see a doctor.

Use Herbal Products for hairloss

I suggest to you use herbal powders like hibiscus, cassia auriculata, henna, neem powders for hair loss problems. These are take little more time to show good results. Chemical shampoos affects hair and leads to hair fall. In my suggestion use this Casia Herbal Hair Loss control products.

They say 100-150 hairs a day is a normal amount to shed, so I think you should be okay. I would only be alarmed if it continues to increase in number. One of the obvious things you could do is to not lighten your hair anymore - "bleaching" is the removal of color molecules and causes your hair cortex and cuticle to suffer major damage, which can lead to breakage, which may be what you're noticing. If you can't resist the bleach, try to keep heat stealing to a minimum and deep condition weekly.

I spritz a sun-in concoction (lemon juice, 3% peroxide) in my hair every once 'n awhile. How bad is this for my hair? Thanks!

hairloss + dye my hair

If you bleached and dyed your hair, you sucked out the moisture from your hair, so you have to artificially drop all that good stuff back in on a regular basis with hair masks and treatments to keep proteins in your follicles. You can use oils and products you already have at home these are tried and perhaps most important.

Your hair may have lost some elasticity after such intense chemical processing, so you’re going to need to be gentle and use the right brush to avoid further damage. Avoid brushes with plastic beads on the bristles. You want to use boar’s bristle brushes and wide-toothed combs. Definitely, don’t brush your hair when it’s wet.

Hair Masks for Dye hair:

1. Avocado, Coconut oil, Honey
2. Olive oil, Honey
3. Banana, Honey, Yogurt
4. Honey, Eggs, Apple cider vinegar
5. Coconut oil

As far as I understand you can do anything you like to your hair as hairloss occurs internally so bleaching or dying it won't effect it.

Hello Ossyna,
It has been quite a while since you posted your concern about your hair loss and bleaching your hair.
If you have been using harsh chemicals in your hair and scalp for a long time, you will have hair loss. Eventually your follicles become weaker and do not hold the strands of hair as they would if there were less chemicals in your scalp.
Couple of questions you need to answer yourself:
Is there anyone in your family, female or male, that has lost their hair on the top area of their head ( Male Baldness pattern of Female baldness pattern?)
Are you taking medications for thyroid, high blood pressure, diabetes, are you trying to loose weight or lost weight pretty fast, are you very stressed, how is your nutrition and are you sleeping well?
So many factors can cause hair loss.
Chemicals cause hair loss. Bleaching, perms, Jerry Curls, hair relaxers, constant use of gel....I would stop using bleach and harsh chemical, if I was you.
See if the hair loss will stop, if not, you should invest on a Laser Device ( Laser comb, laser band, laser helmet) , use it three times a week, and choose a darker hair color, where you wouldn't have to use bleach.
Better be a brunette then bald :)
