Many dudes think their girlfriends/wives break up with them because of hairloss. And even though thats what it seems like, I find a lot of men seem to be extremely whiny, depressed, negative, and all-around not fun to be with when they are losing their hair. This is the reason women break up with them. Even if they say "it's because of your hair loss" they really mean they now see you as a weak person because the hair loss has affected your life so much. You are no longer the strong, confident, whatever else, guy they fell for in the first place. It's not the hair loss, it's your lack of ability to deal with it.
I'm not saying this is what happened in you're case, i'm just saying to think about other reasons. If she said "You are losing your hair and I don't find you attractive anymore" then seriously, you don't want to be with her, and you should be glad she dumped you before you got married and realized how big of a b**ch she really was.
