Hairloss Shampoo's/Conditioners - Are they worth it?

I have been using in the past special hairloss shampoos/conditioners such as Revivogen, Nanogen and Revita. More recently, I've been using Revita.COR conditioner.

Since shampoo's and conditioners don't stay on the scalp long enough to make a difference. Is there any point in wasting money and actually using them?

At the moment, I am just alternating Revita.COR with my Ket shampoo. I am thinking of ditching Revita.COR since I don't think its helping.

Am I right or wrong to think they are a waste of money? Wouldn't sticking to a nice salon shampoo be good enough and cheaper?

I personally don't think they're very effective. Revivogen uses good hair loss science (dht inhibitor) but I don't think it'd ever actually stop hair loss. I still reckon they're 'worth it' though because it's just a choice of shampoo and I doubt you're gonna notice the financial effects of an extra few pounds (dollars) every month or so for shampoo.

I dont believe a shampoo will make any meaningful difference to the progression of male pattern baldness but shampoos containing ketoconazole and/or piroctone olamine will increase the thickness of follicles you still have.
