It's not like HairLossTalk.com (or any bb forum owner for that matter) has a team of crack programmers manning electro-magnetic laser turrets, to destroy any and all threats coming through various ports in the software. You have to cross bridges when you come to them, and hope that you've prepared enough beforehand.

It is our server but its also remote, and we were hosted with a service that I found out after the fact is very poor... I also haven't had the $$ to pay someone to do security. Now we've got a host that does both so all is well.

Sorry HairLossTalk.com, but my message has been misunderstood. I apologise if my message sounded commanding and rude.

Being a geniune poster and working in an Ecommerce industry, I feel that these attacks can definitely shake up customer confidence who may likely provide credit card details to order medicines. Also I did not know that only the forum was hacked, not the entire site.

Please lock this thread.
