From what I understand it has nothing to do with hair clinics defamation.

There are some trolls that love to argue in the Clinical trials sub-forum.
They have made the only interesting sub-forum unreadable.
One of them is very violent and loves to issue death threats.
Another one is a anti-semite conspiracy lunatic.

My guess is that, instead of banning them they just decided to scare them off
